Project Description
Infosys Crescent Campus – Bengaluru, India
Located in Electronic City, Bengaluru, Infosys Crescent is a 1.5 million square foot corporate campus built using fully precast concrete systems—an approach that enabled faster construction while significantly reducing water use and eliminating on-site material waste. TRC Engineering was responsible for the review of structural and precast designs and provided execution supervision to ensure precision, quality, and alignment with project goals.
The campus comprises five buildings of varying heights, with basement levels for parking and upper floors housing office spaces and amenities, including food courts. Floor-to-floor heights are maintained at 4.2 meters to support modern workspace requirements. The structural system includes precast columns, shear walls (both cast-in-place and precast), inverted T-beams, L-beams, rectangular beams, and hollow-core slabs. Lateral stability is provided by a combination of precast shear walls and moment-resisting frames.
More than 22,500 precast elements were used throughout the project, each engineered for efficiency and sustainability. The building has received LEED Platinum certification and was named one of the “100 Iconic Sustainable Buildings” by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Government of India, during the G20 India Presidency—reinforcing its performance-driven, environmentally conscious design.
